About
I studied Mechanical Engineering, but what I actually discovered in college was a love for software. I taught myself to code, and in November 2022 I joined ALX — a rigorous year-long software engineering program that formalized what I already knew: building digital systems is what I am meant to do.
Today, I work as a software engineer specializing in backend systems and system integration. Most recently, I have been working on a national-scale Laboratory Information Management System in Zanzibar, connecting healthcare facilities and improving data interoperability. I care about building software that solves real problems — tools that are well-designed, reliable, and that make a measurable difference for the people who use them.
